18-20 Weeks
Until now I have had trouble remembering that I am pregnant as I most of my days are very busy, however in the last week I have been much more aware that I’m pregnant. Now I can’t help but see it or bump into no matter what I’m doing. It also helps me remember when my kindergartners rub my belly, or kiss it as they walk by. They also like putting their jackets under their shirt and saying “Look at me, I’m Mrs. Wells.”
I’ve also noticed some specific pain in my back and at the top of my stomach. The pain is pretty uncomfortable and has a burning ache to it. The funny part is it only acts up for about 10-20 minutes right around 8:30 every night and then it’s gone until tomorrow. I guess I can’t complain since its short lived even thought it is pretty intense.
In other news, my mom spent Veteran’s Day with me and took me shopping for some maternity clothes. Until now I have only been wearing the “Belly Band” that Joy lent me. It has helped me stay in most of my normal clothes. My mom and I found a great clearance rack ( I love a good deal) at Target and my mom bought me 3 pairs of maternity pants and 5 shirts. I haven’t put maternity pants on until this shopping trip as I didn’t have any, and wow they are sooooo comfortable. I honestly thought most maternity pants were pretty ugly and I was trying to avoid them as long as I could, but now that I know how comfortable they are I love them. So I wore my first offical pair of maternity pants to work just the other day! I think I’m hooked. Thanks again for getting all of that for me mom!
Our 20 week Doctor’s appointment is next Wednesday!
