BIG girl bed

Cora, just a few weeks shy of 22 months, officially moved from her crib to a twin size “BIG” girl bed and it was quiet the mile stone around here. We have been busy preparing for the big move by reading stories about the move, talking about how the crib will be needed for the new baby, the expectations we had for her, and mattress shopping. After making a big deal about it we were finally ready to move her and she did great!!!! She fell asleep just as quietly as she did before. We were surprised to find out that she only woke up once around 5 a.m. and had no problem going right back to sleep. It’s been a little less than a week now and we are still really impressed. She’s even staying in it for nap time, most days. ┬áThe funny part is that we aren’t used to being woke up by the sound of her bedroom door slamming behind her and her coming in our room bring in the day with a sweet “Hi!” Her room is still a work in progress, but I’m hoping to share pictures of how cute it is turning out soon.
