The Wells Family

But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. – Joshua 24:15

11 months

I know, I know, this is possible the cutest thing you’ve ever seen and you are instantly in love with this little man. I’m right there with ya! A few disclaimers for this photo shoot, this was my first ever attempt to tie a tie and I had to watch the YouTube video a few times and the results still weren’t that good, also this cleaver idea came from my creative friend Ashlie Fulmer.

At 11 months Jack is flirting with the idea of walking but still resorts to his quick crawling skills to get around. He loves to hobble around holding onto our figures or using his toy walker. But, I don’t think it will be long before he decides to start walking to keep up with Cora. He now has 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on bottom. He eats mostly table food and is usually pretty good about trying new things, that doesn’t mean he’ll necessarily eat it, but he’ll give it a quick second before he spits it out. He LOVES peas, anything Cora has, strawberries, and almost drowns himself from drinking water so quickly from his sippy cup. He has confirmed the trend that I’ve observed in little boys, he’s a collector and always has something held tight to his chest. He’ll find a toy or two and hold onto it all morning. He really likes holding onto balls or Cora’s plastic food. He also LOVES to climb, climb the drawers in the fridge, climb the screen door, climb the chairs, climb the couch, climb up onto Cora’s bed, He.Loves.To.Climg. He’s very bright, no really I’m not just a biased mom, most often when someone else has taken care of him for a while, like the church nursery, a friend, or a baby-sitter, they tell us about how smart he is and how he managed to figure something out that surprised them. He also gets a lot of compliments

about how outgoing and entertaining he is. Again, I’d have to agree, he’s pretty fun to watch and he’s full of excitment. I think some of this is because he is watching Cora and taking notes, it is also possible that I’m just really good at this whole mom thing (j/k.) He takes about an hour nap in the morning and about an hour and a half nap in the afternoon. He is growing and changing everyday and I am honored that God allowed me to be his mommy. He is a blast and ***he keeps me on my toes! Here’s to 11 months J-Bird!

***Here’s the proof that he keeps me on my toes…
