Cora is four months old…already! She has been continuing to fill out and discover the world around her. She holds her head up and is learning to balance herself (with help) when sitting up. Her latest discoveries have been that she can touch her feet and pull them toward her. We are still waiting for her to get them to her mouth. She has also been rolling over without much effort, but she’s still working on rolling from her back to her stomach. She “talks” a lot, usually to herself. I joke that she is auditioning for a role in Land Before Time because she makes little growling noises that sound like baby dinosaurs. She is starting to show more of her personality as she lets us know what she likes and what she doesn’t. Lately she doesn’t like being on her play mat and usually fusses until someone comes to watch her play or plays with her. She loves riding the “hip horsy,” which is my hip bouncing her around until she spits up. Always a good time. She also loves waking up to one of our faces peering over her crib, she lights up when she sees us. Sooo cute.
